Successful Practice Transitions in an Unpredictable Dental World

Welcome to the Preparing For Practice Transition learning pathway! First, you’ll learn a little bit about Dr. Hyman and why he created this pathway.

Dr. Mark Hyman is a dentist from Greensboro, North Carolina, and our Preparing For Practice Transition learning pathway creator. Having spent 32 years in private practice, he eventually realized it was time to transition out of this role.

Now, Dr. Hyman is an adjunct full professor and special assistant to the office of the Dean at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill.

Working with Jameson Consulting, Dr. Hyman underwent a 15-month process to smoothly and successfully transition out of private practice. He documented this process from the first phone call to the day he left and has created this learning pathway to pass on the wisdom and knowledge he gleaned along the way.

In this pathway, you’ll join Dr. Mark Hyman as he guides you through the steps to transition out of your practice.

Dr. Hyman will walk you through the different phases of practice transition and give you tools and tips that will help make the process more seamless.

If you’re a practice owner who may be feeling the nudge to move in a different direction, you’ll want to listen closely to gain valuable insight into making this transition a success.
